Critical Work
The work of the rain and the insects
is
work never seen.
They work hard, slow
and quiet
with
work time concealed.
Slow and small
but
still as critical
as
the sun to the field.
All work is needed
to make best soil
for
the yield!
There is not one job
more
important then another.
It takes all planning and thinking
with
a word to sustain.
If the world were all men
with machines
who only complain,
critical work
left undone,
will
always remain!
Do not measure
the
worth of your work,
by
large equipment,
your noise,
or
the size of the space.
For work with small tools
and
in a small place,
will determine
the fate
of
the whole human race!
I was going to try another poetry site but I did not do this right Brian. the site link expired so...maybe next time.
ReplyDeleteHello,
ReplyDeleteI'm a freelance journalist for the Beacon News. I do the Blog Log each week, where we feature a blog in the Fox Valley area and the writer of the blog. Your blog caught my attention and I think it would be a great fit for the newspaper. If you're interested, I'd like to send you some questions that you can answer at your earliest convenience.
Thanks,
