GIFT
Flowers are the
choice
given
to lift the spirit
to say I”m sorry
to say thank you
to say I love you
Flowers are the
gift
given
from a seed
from creation
from the soil
from the sun
from the heart
Flowers are the
giver
given
of a vision
of a scent
of an emotion
of their life
Flowers
lift my spirit
fill my heart
kiss all problems
and
patch any broken things
that happen in a day
they have a way
to say
God loves you
grow
in that love!

ReplyDeleteBeautiful poetry, Rae Ann. So true that a gift of flowers can really send a message and uplift a person's spirits. Plus they definitely also speak of the giver as well. Flowers come from the heart.

ReplyDeleteFlowers are the giver... of an emotion. For some it is easier than saying "I'm sorry"... but I would never stand for that :)
