Ramps
Ramps, inclines and just
rolling up
or
Steps, stairways, and just
step up
Bumpy rides
or
smooth glides
take the first step
or
step up two by two
steps as wheelchair barrier
or
exercise for those who push
Getting a ramp may be the
first step
using
the ramp the second step
planning to go is fun by far but the third step is the car
that third step
is looking
mighty big
who
forgot
this anyway
must
have been me, what can I say
where
there is a will there is a way
that step is for another day
Pray
Today we 'll make a mess and play
This step is for TODAY
Nice project! Fun!
ReplyDeleteHa, ramps are definitely a way to avoid taking the steps! Smiles.
ReplyDeleteI love the way you made steps in your poem, nice creative outlay.
ReplyDeletethat step is for another day - I like it, build for another day and take that step into tomorrow
ReplyDeletei am rather fond of making messes. it means you are living.
ReplyDeleteLove the visual aspect of this poem and it was an enjoyable read. To pray and play are importants steps to happiness (in my book).
ReplyDeleteHa! I just wrote and posted mine which is called The Next Step. Glad I didnt read yours first or I would have had to think of something else:) Your poem makes me aware of how difficult traversing steps - and they are everywhere! - is for people in wheelchairs. Good one!
ReplyDeleteNicely done, well-presented! I liked your photos and the visual form of the poem.
ReplyDeleteFun form.
ReplyDeleteThe feet look so painful! Ramps can be a very good thing!
ReplyDeleteRae, I thought the feet looked fun--love them in fact--enjoyed your stair stepping form too :-)
