The Sun that warms the morning's breath
The Moon that kisses the night time sky
The Water that washes the world's girth
The Wind that keeps the clouds up high

The Passion from a lover's touch
The Breath that comes from unexpected sight
The Wonder in a baby's birth
The Touch of hands that pray at night

The Sound of Nature's cathedral band
The Smell of life from all air drifts
The Sight of Nature's unrestricted hand
The Exhale as we open life's endless gifts

      When I saw the prompt and opened a blank page to type my first thought was if there can only be 12 each must include many many more more.. To just breath in and say ahhh and to breath out and say thank you probably covers almost all.

    I like the way you listed these gifts in poetry form, Rae. One of my favorites because of its uniqueness is 'the sound of Nature's Cathedral band." We really DO have so much to be thankful for! I do hope you had a Happy Thanksgiving!
