unreal places become real

Poetry Jam

UNIVERSAL DOOR

Door To The World: and whats beyond
There are grand bridges to cross
but
they may be wet
even
soap suds slippery wet.
Boards you can not just slip on
but
step unexpectedly through.

There is a fantastic universe out there
with love
with surprises
with all that you desire

There will be doors to step through
some with locks
some with keys
some lock tighter then a steel vault box.

When there is no door in the wall
No door at all
You may have to that makes that door
Yes, a door through which to soar

Do you see it?
Do you understand the choices?
Do you have faith?
To take the first step
To finish the journey
To find you
Choices are yours
Chances will be there
Changes always happen

Where is the world within you?
It was there when you were born
so

embrace that inner-child and fly.

  1. I like where you went with this -- all the doors metaphorical and real -- along the path of life. Indeed--embrace yourself and fly! thanks for posting this.

  2. This is a great poem, Rae. I enjoyed the encouraging tine and the idea that when the door is missing we are the ones who can make the door and push it open. I also like the idea that the doors we push connect us to our inner-child.

  3. This poem has a wonderful message. Sometimes it does seem that we have great bridges to cross and doors that need opening...and somehow we must find the key. We have so many choices along the way. Which bridge? Which door? Somehow we each find our direction!
