Where is God
He is in the young new
grass
I have in my yard right
now
and
the baby I love and
miss..
She is in the Oldest tree
I can't wrap my arms
around
and
the smallest finger I
gently kiss.
God is in the rocks
that form canyon walls
and
small ones collected over
the years
God is present in every
star
I can see from here
and
the millions seen through
the darkest tears
God is in the energy
here and there
and
everywhere
I believe
I feel
I know
God's
Love
Beautifully expressed and thoughtful poem! Yes, I believe God is everywhere too.
ReplyDeleteLove and its never-ending energy are so evident in your poem this week ... thank you for sharing it.
ReplyDeleteSo very true, and beautiful!!!
ReplyDeleteI love this expression of God being everywhere. Thank you for posting on Poetry Jam.
ReplyDeleteThank You Mary, Helen, Carry, and Peggy for your comments. With God everywhere, at all times, all we can have is a wonderful day! Today and always.
ReplyDeletesmiles...it is amazing how when you are open to it...you can see god in all that surrounds us...or at least the fingerprints...smiles.
ReplyDeletefingerprint? I like that! Any light touch can leave a fingerprint but sometimes it is hard to see. I am thinking if a child's hands are full of paint the view of the print is right there before out eyes but sometimes there is no visible clue to them being in the room. You might have to dust for fingerprints to see who was in the cookie jar. Sometimes we may just have to look harder and think more to find God in the "room"
DeleteYes God is all around us. Well penned.
