No Control

Poetry Jam
Rain

H20

Rain
drop drop
drop drop drop
I love the smell
of rain in the air
the smell of air
as drops fall
from the
sky

rain
rain go
away there
are  now children                                      dancing
who want to                                             in the rain
play...                                                   now that is fun
drop                                                        but to bike
stop                                                         in the rain
                                                                   is wet
                                                                    cold
                                                                     uck

but
with
no rain
the wind
blows the soil
the land is to dry
and we look up
wishing the
sky would
cry
think
there really
must be a mix
that can fix the
dry and wet
yet ....no
it is just
as the
H20
is
perfect
as can be
drip drip drip
we do not rule the
sky wind or rain
it is just so
that we
want

to
complane
explain. retain
controll of all
and that
is not
at all
how
a
rain
storm
dust storm
desert or forest
puddle or creak
will let us rule
we can not
do... nuch
but enjoy
the H2
000
00
0
So
dance
in all the
rain drops

now

  3. Oh, i agree....to bike in the rain is torture. I liked your creativity with the shapes & the poem in each droplet!

  4. P.S. Hi Rae, I hope this week you will visit others. You have linked & not visited others for the past few weeks. We all like visits from others, and I know I myself eventually stop visiting those who aren't reciprocal....as do others.

  8. I like the short stanzas in this shape poem. Like rain drops--separate but connected to the rain storm.
