joy to you

Poetry Jam
share the joy

Messengers Among Us

Christmas nativity hold hope
History is an ever changing teacher
Constant is God's love
But
Angels have their work cut out for them

Candles light the night
Energy abounds
Starlight connects us
But
Angels have their work cut out for them

Rivers run quiet
Patience is the key
Green world is our goal
But
Angels have their work cut out for them

Harmony at home
Food on the table
Health wherever you may be
But
Angels have their work cut out for them

God's Angels were messengers then
Angels are still working today
We must help
But
Thoughtful Listening was needed then
.....as it is today…..

  2. "Angels have their work cut out for them" - maybe we have more fun and joy because we must think of what we want and choose to do.

  3. Angels definitely do have their work cut out for them. Otherwise we wouldn't have all those moments of joy that spring up every once in a while.

  8. Great words and forms, more things go on that we are aware. I love the way this flows.

  9. Very nice. And yes, the angels of the Lord indeed have their work to do. Your poetic structure works well with the repeated line. Isn't it wonderful to have them? Wishing you and blessed Christmas, full of the joy of the Lord.
