ONE WORD FOR 2015

Star's Meditation:  LISTEN

Listen    See.    Remember.    Be.
The Stars know the best position
Without hesitation
The universe is wise
It hears the wind's cries

Without hesitation

They tell us to listen

(The painting is not at all finished but ......even as it is now
it fits the poem to the T)

  1. Ah, the universe definitely listens to everything. It hears the wind's cries and undoubtedly our own!

What a lovely painting in process! Hope to see it when it is completed. Smiles.

  2. I love your painting, Rae Ann, and can definitely see how it would fit your words. I sometimes fear that the constant use of technology might cut off completely from the wisdom of nature.

  7. Wonderful rhyming sequence you have here because it really molds the poem together. Especially since a lot the keywords in this poem were the rhyming words themselves.

  9. I was thinking about the sound waves that have been recorded from deep space while I read your piece ... that shush of sound that changes and morphs as it is slowed down and speeded up, that is mesmerizing and engaging, that begs explanation!

  10. Love seeing your painting in process. Stars indeed tell us to listen even if there is no sound in space without atmosphere!
