Through my mothers eyes

Poetry Jam
Eyes

When Blind Eyes See

My life guide         can not see
but she sees much more then me
She hears what others choose to see
and understands feelings as the key
Her use of words I’d trust with life
to know human and their strife
choose her sight over mine
understanding divine
eyes when closed
see through
to life’s
core
